Come to the best street party down under. Waihi’s main street becomes a drag race strip - with a difference . Check out Martha Mine and the view from the Cornish Pump House, as you listen to the sound of Rock N Roll from inside this historic icon. Cruise into town on your way to Whangamata for the Beach Hop. Dance the day away in the main street or check out the local shops and their Retro window displays. Grab a coffee from the local Cafe’s or support the local groups & schools sausage sizzles.
Live bands will be rocking the town as you stroll or dance around the hundreds of cars on display. What ever you do, don’t miss the party of the year.
Join in and enjoy the thrill of Waihi’s best street party.
