A Day at Paradise
As we drove to Paradise Valley Raceway the skyline lit up with lightning and the sound of Thunder rumbled down the hill. We were greeted with blustery wind and heavy rain. Our attempt at setting up was interrupted by the need to hang on to everything. So with the tent packed back in the van we watched the day unfold, or blow away.
When the weather abated for short periods there would be a scurry as tarps were lifted to reveal hidden treasures. Due to the inclement conditions the centre track was closed and the Show cars were redirected to the upper terrace.
So some went home with a new piece for the car and others just went home dirty.
Thanks to the Rotorua Club for all the effort.
