This year’s two day event caught a few people by surprise, as they were expecting to come out on Sunday, they quickly came out on Saturday afternoon. Sadly the weather did not play the game and many swappers were packing up to head home by early afternoon. We’d had light showers, heavy rain and at one point hail. We understand that the 2012 event is due to go back to a three day event.

The Brewers Bar and Reserve was the place to be on Saturday 25th September. The sun came out to play and so did everyone else. Arriving in their polished, pinstriped, chrome plated Australian, English and American rides. The Reserve quickly filled up with all manner of vehicles.

Unfortunately the weather did not play ball for the Swap meet and with numerous other events on the turnout was well down. For the hardy that turned out the day offered the usual items of automotive history, nostalgia and the more up to date parts & accessories for your road car or race car.
