Pumphouse Pistons Christmas Party

Brave souls turned out to the Waihi Pumphouse Pistons Christmas party at the Waihi Beach Hotel on Sunday 19th December 2010.

The rain kept some away but forty plus vehicles and crews turned out to have a great day with rocking tunes from up and coming local group “The Little Red Hens” followed by the North Harbour Rockers.

Plenty of prizes were up for grabs with local Dave Carter cleaning up several prizes for his tidy International truck. Other prizes went out for the best Chev, and best “Other” vehicle along with our very own Brian taking out the best Ford for the 1940 Mercury.

The promo girls kept the drinks coming as the rain kept falling and the raffles kept everyone hoping they’d win.

It was a shame about the weather but we all had a great day, Thanks to Mike, Bill and the other organizers and sponsors.

Pumphouse Pistons hold the monthly get together every third Sunday at the Waihi Beach Hotel, we'll see you there.
